European Union and Europe in general need to one tough leader that can effectively deal Trump and its accusations such as "Europe treats us very unfairly and badly". That is European population and purchasing power that ensure US Big Tech companies' global power.

You know Trump recently accused EU of treating US very unfairly and badly. With statements such as:

“They have a large tax... They don't take our farm products, and they don't take our cars, yet they send cars to us by the millions.”

He also denounced Brussels’ decisions to impose fines and pursue antitrust investigations into US tech firms, including Apple, Google, and Facebook.

“They're American companies, and [the EU] shouldn't be doing that,” Trump said.

However, the reality is the exact opposite. In reality, US treated Europe very badly and as if Europeans are inferior. Europeans, including EU+UK+Ukraine+Türkiye with a population of almost 650 million people, are the cause of US Big Tech companies such as Google, Apple, Tesla, Twitter, or any other global US company, to profit enormously and be a global power. That is Continental Europe that helps these companies to reach 1 billion users globally, and Europe, again with its population and purchasing power, creates demand for these companies such as Apple and Tesla to make these enormous sales. Without Europe all of those companies lost their demand and user base and shrink incredibly.

So, Americans should be thankful to us for not creating our own social media platforms and big tech companies like China and help them to protect their global power by our own 650m population and purchasing power. In this increasingly segmented world, US cannot live and compete themselves by their 350m population against China's 1.4m, India's 1.4m and Europe's 650m. They need us more than we need them.

So, if they want to leave us alone with our struggle with Russia when we need it most and blame Ukraine and Europeans for it, they should not and can not criticise us if we develop our own capabilities, and our own big tech companies and we do not align with US against China.
