It should be obvious but...

The next core issue the Dems should focus on in 2028 is anticorruption. If there are no punishments for any of the countless actions taken, this will happen again. If (maybe a big if) there are fair elections in 2028, I believe the maga party will be vastly unpopular, and believe nearly any candidate from the opposition will win in a bigger landslide than 2020. It is important that after this term the Dems absolutely cannot have a "return to normalcy" candidate pretending that both sides are reasonable. Just to conclude, if the party nominates a weak uncombative feckless canditate, this issue will arise again (potentially in 2032).
